I think they make them ugly on purpose — so we will ‘upgrade’. By the way, your poetry is truly beautiful.

How did you do that? I’m always shocked (really) when I discover that a post of mine is “supported by” such and such ad. Suppose I don’t support the product? And my readers get the wrong idea about me?

They were ads placed by WordPress. For an ad free site you pay WordPress more for hosting. I decided it was worth it. To do it click on link to upgrade your site in the Dashboard.
